MIDVALE, Utah, Aug. 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A baby was transported to Primary Children’s Hospital on Friday evening after Unified Police responded to a call of a possible drowning at a Midvale hotel.
Unified Police Department Detective Ken Hansen said the 9-month-old girl wasn’t breathing when police arrived at Staybridge Suites of Midvale, 747 W. Blue Vista Lane, at about 7 p.m.
Hansen said it appears that the baby had been in the bathtub in a room at the hotel.
“The officers performed CPR, and the good news is that they got her breathing and she kept on breathing,” Hansen told Gephardt Daily.
No information was available as to the baby’s current condition.
