Salt Lake Police seek public’s assistance identifying burglary suspect

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 7, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect that has committed multiple burglaries in Salt Lake City and other neighboring jurisdictions.

The suspect has entered various businesses along State Street and has broken into safes and ATM machines to access cash, the SLCPD said in a news release. 

The suspect is described as Caucasian, of an unknown height and weight with a slender build, balding with short hair on the sides, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.

The Police Department asks anyone who may know the identity and/or location of this suspect to call 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637. Please start the text with TIPSLCPD, which routes it to the police department, then include any relevant information. The case number is #17-67379.
