UTAH – November 10, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons have reopened after both requiring four-wheel drive or chains for the first time this season Tuesday morning.

In addition, chains also required for semis on US-6 between MP 231 in Helper and MP 204 in Spanish Fork.

The Wasatch Front is being hit by rain and snow and officials are asking drivers to slow down and use caution.

The Utah Avalanche Center also Tweeted that Snowbird is closed to uphill traffic due to mountain operations. The center reports Snowbird may be open later this week.

We will have more on this developing story as it becomes available.
