SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, June 21, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating the discovery of a body found floating in the Jordan River Saturday afternoon.
South Salt Lake Police Lt. Alvarez told Gephardt Daily, officers were notified at about 3:47 p.m. that a body had been spotted in the river near 3200 South, just north of 3300 South.
“We are early on in the investigation," Alvarez said. “At this point, it is too early to determine whether there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
