“The investigation is ongoing and the West Bountiful Police Department is working closely with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office; updates will be provided when new information becomes available.”

Previously the last update from West Bountiful police April 17 said Idaho State Police had received reports of Vest seen the afternoon of April 9 in Downey, Idaho, about 118 miles north of her home.

A passerby said she was trying to get back home but didn’t want to take Interstate 15, noting she was acting confused and upset.

The day before, she was seen at about 4:45 p.m in Ogden. She left her home in West Bountiful at about 2 p.m. April 8, seen driving a 2017 Silver Toyota Camry with Utah plate approximately W365U.

“Kay does not drive at night, has memory issues, and is easily confused,” said the Silver Alert West Bountiful police issued that night.
