Bountiful police ask for public’s help identifying suspected thief

BOUNTIFUL, Utah, April 11, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Bountiful Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man believed to have entered a fitness center, stolen a customer’s bag, then attempted to use the credit cards stored inside.

“The male in the picture entered into VASA Fitness and took a gym bag containing keys to a 2008 Chevy Tahoe and a wallet while the owner was changing,” the police statement says.

“The suspect then went to Kohl’s in Centerville and attempted to use the credit cards.”

Anyone who can identify the man in the picture is asked to contact the Bountiful Police Department at 801-298-6000. The case number is 190000948.
