Box Elder County officials calling death ‘suspicious’ after body found in Corinne park

CORINNE, Utah, June 27, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials in Box Elder County have responded to a park in Corinne after the discovery of a body.

The body was discovered Thursday morning in Bill Flack Park, according to information released by Chief Deputy Dale Ward, Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials are calling the unattended death “suspicious,” but did not confirm the body’s gender or whether it was that of an adult or juvenile.

Salt Lake City police tweeted that they are aware of the death, and have confirmed with the Box Elder Sheriff’s office that the remains were unrelated to their active investigation into the disappearance of 21-year-old MacKenzie Lueck.
