HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah, Oct. 17, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) – A 7-year-old Utah girl who was the subject of a Missing Endangered Child Advisory by the Utah Department of Public Safety has been found and returned to her mother.
The advisory, issued at 11:38 p.m. Wednesday, by the DPS Criminal Information Center, said the missing child, had “not returned” from a visitation with her non-custodial father.
The child had last been seen at Hill Air Force Base.
At 11:43 a.m. Thursday, the DPS CIC released the following statement:
ENDANGERED MISSING ADVISORY CANCELLED CHILD LOCATED AND RETURNED TO MOTHER
Sources at Hill AFB said the incident was due to a “misunderstanding” and the child was found safe.
No other information was immediately available.
