SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – August 29, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police are on the scene of a fatal auto-pedestrian accident in downtown Salt Lake City.
According to SLCPD investigators, a 62-year-old man was hit by an RV near the intersection of 500 South and 500 West around 9 p.m. Saturday.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unclear if he was in a crosswalk or otherwise had the right of way.
The driver of the RV, believed to be from out of state, is said to be cooperating police.
No citations were issued at the time of the accident.
