BRIGHAM CITY, Utah, Sept. 10, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Brigham City police are searching for a suspect or suspects after vandalism to numerous Sheriff’s Department vehicles.

“The Brigham City Police Department is asking for assistance with identifying and apprehending one or more vandalism suspects who may be responsible for numerous cases of vandalism and graffiti to some Box Elder County Sheriff Department’s agency vehicles,” said a Facebook post.

“Many of the vandalism cases have occurred while the vehicles were parked unoccupied overnight, which was visible to the public. We believe the suspect(s) likely live in the local area.”

The graffiti was of a hate symbol, the post said.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact Detective Herbert at 435-734-6674 or 435-734-6650.

“We appreciate all the help we continually receive from the community as we are all in this together,” the post added.
