Brush fire in Saratoga Springs deemed ‘suspicious’

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah, July 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are calling a small brush fire in Saratoga Springs Monday night “suspicious” though its exact cause is under investigation.

The incident occurred near the top of Stillwater Drive at approximately 8:20 p.m., Saratoga Springs officials said.

The fire burned approximately three acres and was brought under control in about half an hour. It came within about 25 yards of several homes, officials said.

No one was injured as a result of the blaze.

Investigators are now working to determine the cause of the brush fire.
