Bystander pulls child from Little Cottonwood Creek in Murray

MURRAY, Utah, June 6, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A young boy was pulled from Little Cottonwood Creek in Murray Thursday afternoon, officials said.

“Swift water rescue in Murray City Park,” said a tweet from the Murray Fire Department public information officer at 7 p.m.

“Four to 5-year-old male fell into Little Cottonwood Creek.”

A bystander pulled the child out and a police officer assisted them both when he arrived.

The little boy was transported to the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

The condition of the child is unknown at this time, the tweet said.
