BYU Voted Safest U.S. College Campus; See Other Utah Schools’ Ranks

PROVO, Utah, Jan. 13, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Brigham Young University has been voted the No. 1 safest campus in America by college-review site Niche.

Niche used a number of factors to compile its 2016 ranking of the safest college campuses in America. The site said top-ranked colleges offer a safe and healthy environment with little or no campus crime, drugs, and alcohol usage. For more information about the ranking methodology, click here.

BYU came in as the safest campus in the nation, followed by Summit University, formerly known as Baptist Bible College & Seminary, in Virginia and Regent University, in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.

Drug safety: A+

Party scene: C+
