BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah, Nov. 27, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A car left the road and rolled into the river in Big Cottonwood Canyon Wednesday afternoon.
The incident is at mile post 8, said a tweet from the Utah Department of Transportation Cottonwood Canyons.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that multiple people may be trapped inside the vehicle. It’s not clear at this early stage if they are injured.
Road crews and Unified police are working to get the car back out on the road; drivers should expect delays until at least 7 p.m.
