SPANISH FORK, Utah, April 14, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) – A Spanish Fork boy suffered minor injuries after a truck reportedly ran a red light and collided with a school bus Thursday afternoon.
Spanish Fork Police said the crash happened at approximately 3 p.m. on SR-6 near 2550 East when a truck headed east on SR-6 ran a red light and hit a school bus and a passenger car that were both headed north on 2550 East.
There were about 15 elementary school-aged children on the bus at the time of the crash and one of them was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and it is not known if drugs or alcohol were factors.
No other injuries were reported.
