LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah, Sept. 30, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Search and Rescue crews assisted a hiker who was “cliffed-out” above Lower Lisa Falls in Little Cottonwood Canyon early Sunday morning.

Detective Ken Hansen with the Unified Police Department told Gephardt Daily three hikers had hiked up Coalpit Gulch, west of Snowbird, and at approximately 6:30 a.m. one of them reached the edge of a cliff and became stuck.

Search and Rescue workers were dispatched and climbed up to the hikers, then assisted them in climbing down from that location.

There were no injuries to either the hikers or the SAR team, Hansen said.
