Clinton City PD releases names of 2 men shot, killed in early hours of Thanksgiving

CLINTON, Utah, Nov. 30, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Clinton City police have released the names of two men fatally shot in a residence on Thursday of this week.

The victims were Keith Miller, 40, who was a guest at the residence, and Jacob Pluim, 35, who lived at the house.

“Our sincere condolences to the families of those involved or affected by this incident. All parties are cooperating in the ongoing investigation. It is anticipated our next release will be mid-week.”

Clinton City Police and officers from surrounding agencies responded to a shots fired call at 1:02 a.m., and arrived at a residence in the area of 2575 West and 2250 North.

At the house, they found two men down.

“Officers discovered two adult male victims with gunshot wounds,” an initial news release from the Clinton City Police says.

“Tragically, one of the individuals was deceased inside of the residence. The second was flown by medical helicopter and was pronounced deceased after arrival at the hospital.”

Several people were questioned at the scene.
