SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 28, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A construction worker has died from electrocution at his job site, according to Salt Lake City Police.
“He was a 33-year-old subcontractor for the electrician,” Sgt. Brandon Shearer, Salt Lake City Police Department, told Gephardt Daily. “He was working in the state archives building, in an area away from the view of others.”
Shearer said he believed the man died on the job yesterday. His family had been looking for him overnight. The man’s body was found at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday by his co-workers, Shearer said.
The victim’s identity has not been released, nor have more details of his death. Gephardt Daily will have more on this story as information becomes available.
