COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah, Nov. 23, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Law enforcement officials are asking for help identifying two females who allegedly left a Cottonwood Heights Target store without paying for merchandise, then assaulted a loss-prevention associate when confronted.
“These two possible juvenile females were observed concealing and then walking out with unpaid merchandise at the Target (7025 S. Park Center Drive),” says a news release issued by the Cottonwood Heights Police.
“When females were confronted by loss prevention, the female in all black pushed LP associate away in the throat area, and the second female, in gray sweats, threw a candle set at the associate.”
The females then walked behind Habit Burger to the north of the Target, where visuals were lost, the statement says.
“The females likely went through the walkway behind Habit Burger and into the Santa Fe Apartments. LP believes the female in gray sweats is a frequent offender, but has yet to be identified.
