SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 7, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews battled a fire in the attic of a Salt Lake City residence Monday morning.

The incident occurred at 653 E. Redondo Ave. (1995 South), the Salt Lake City Fire Department tweeted at 7:30 a.m.

A follow-up tweet half an hour later said the fire was out.

There were three people inside the residence, but all made it out safely. There were no injuries reported as a result of the blaze.

A total of 20 firefighters responded from both Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake Fire Departments, officials said.

At this stage there is no exact estimate of damages.
