HEBER CITY, Utah, Nov. 1, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews battled a barn fire just north of Heber City Thursday evening.
A Facebook post from Wasatch County Fire at 10 p.m. said: “The fire started in a barn with about 150 ton of hay next to it.”
The structure was saved but the hay will be a total loss, the post said.
“All of the animals have been removed from the area safely and we are working on putting out the burning hay,” the post concludes.
There were no injuries as a result of the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
