SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 31, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews quickly brought an attic fire in Salt Lake City under control late Thursday afternoon.

The Salt Lake City Fire Department tweeted at 5:20 p.m. that the fire was burning at a home at 1810 S. 400 East.

“Crews on scene with smoke and flames showing from the attic space,” the tweet said.

Just six minutes later, SLCFD officials tweeted the fire was under control.

About 20 minutes after that, a follow-up tweet said: “Fire is out, crews will remain on scene for to complete an investigation of the cause.”

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
