TOQUERVILLE, Utah, Dec. 8, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue crews were dispatched Saturday night to a house fire in Toquerville.
The call came in at about 8:48 p.m.
“Units were advised that there was an occupant inside the home who was bedridden,” the HVF&R statement says. “Due to this information, additional resources were requested.
“Once fire crews arrived on scene they were able to determine that the fire was out and there was a light haze near the back of the home where the fire started.
“The additional resources were cancelled.”
No injuries were reported, the statement says.
“Crews on scene checked for any further extension and ventilated the structure.”.
“The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. E41, E42, E61, L43, L46, M42, and BC44 all responded to this incident as well as the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.”
