Crews douse small fire in Memory Grove, near State Capitol in Salt Lake City

Crews from the Salt Lake City Fire Department doused a small fire on Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 morning

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from the Salt Lake City Fire Department responded Monday to a small grass fire in Memory Grove.

The fire was put out before it could spread. No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.

Memory Grove is at 300 N. Canyon Road, southeast of the Utah State Capitol Building, in Salt Lake City, where the 2019 Legislature is currently in session.
