HEBER CITY, Utah, Nov. 18, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews are fighting a brush fire in the Strawberry Reservoir area Monday.

The Ladders Fire, which is burning in the Heber-Kamas Ranger District, is estimated to be some 300 acres, burning in grass, brush and some aspen and mixed conifer stands, said a Facebook post from Utah Fire Info.

Firefighting resources from Wasatch County, Fruitland, the state of Utah and the U.S. Forest Service are on scene.

“Suspected human-caused, under investigation,” the post said. “No threat to structures.”

Smoke may visible from U.S. Highway 40, the post said.
