WEBER COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 4, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews are battling a grass fire at a gun range in Weber County on Saturday afternoon.
Weber Fire District tweeted at 4:30 p.m. that officials are on the scene of a fire at the Avon Gun Range.
“Reports are that a ricochet off a rock started the fire,” the post said.
Officials said the grass fire is between half an acre and an acre at this time, but did not say how quickly it is growing.
