WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 1, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Sometimes, if you are a firefighter, you just quietly do your job without too much fuss.
The New Harmony Valley Fire District did last night, assisted by the Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue. Crews worked together to put out an extensive fire in a fully engulfed semi.
“Ladder 43 assisted the New Harmony Valley Fire District with a semi-truck fire near mile marker 36 on I-15,” is all Hurricane Valley Fire’s Facebook page says.
But the photos shared show the bigger picture, of firefighters risking everything to stand at the edge of an inferno to knock it down.
