SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews responded to the scene of a water main break at 1400 S. Foothill Drive in Salt Lake City on Wednesday.
A tweet from Salt Lake City Public Utilities at noon said the water main break is on the west side of the road, and one southbound lane is closed.
A follow up tweet said crews have placed two large steel plates in the southbound center lane while investigation and repairs continue.
“West SB lane is fully closed,” the tweet said. “Please slow down, don’t hit that plate hard!”
The cause of the water main break is under investigation.
