EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah, May 24, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The teen daughter of a Utah County Sheriff deputy was seriously injured in a collision with a concrete pumping truck Tuesday afternoon in Eagle Mountain.

Utah County Sheriff Sgt. Spencer Cannon said the accident happened at 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Ranches Parkway and Pony Express Parkway.

“The 16-year-old girl was a passenger in a pickup truck that ran a red light and hit a concrete pumping truck,”  Cannon said.

“She was the most seriously injured and was taken by Life Flight to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.  I am not certain of her exact condition at this time.”

Another vehicle, a city-owned minivan, also was involved.

Conditions of the other people involved in the accident have also not been released, but Cannon said they may have suffered some minor injuries.
