DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, April 1, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — The Davis County Health Department will begin offering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine at a new clinic location inside the Davis Conference Center in Layton starting on Wednesday, April 7.

Anyone 18 years of age or older can now schedule an appointment online here. Those scheduling an appointment online will need an email address and can schedule for up to two people. Those who are visually impaired or do not have access to a computer or Internet can receive help scheduling an appointment by calling 801-525-4900, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The clinic will be open to the public on Mondays and Wednesdays, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Appointments are necessary, the news release said.

“If a person develops any COVID-19 symptoms prior to their appointment, we’re asking that they please call and reschedule,” the news release said.

Johnson & Johnson is a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine vaccine for those ages 18 and older and is the only vaccine that will be administered at this location, officials said. The Davis County Health Department will continue to offer a two-dose Pfizer vaccine for those 16 and older at a drive-in clinic at the Legacy Events Center in Farmington.
