DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, June 3, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Davis County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue is warning residents to be careful around fast-moving rivers and springs this spring.

A Facebook post Monday from Davis County SAR said: “The sun is out and making short work of the remaining snowpack. So the rivers are booming. Keep your little people on a short leash around the rivers. The water is fast and will kill. Please be extra safe around the water if you’re camping or close to the streams and rivers.”

The post also warns people to take extra care when they have their pets around rivers and streams.
