UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 4, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah County detectives are searching for a suspect who allegedly tried to break into a home in Vineyard last month.

A Facebook post from Utah County Sheriff’s Office said: “Do you know this man? He has ‘5150’ tattooed on his left forearm. On Aug. 12, he tried, with several friends, to break into a home in Vineyard around 2:30 a.m. The homeowner scared them off but we would like help identifying this guy.”

A surveillance picture shows him inside the Maverik convenience store in Vineyard. In that photograph, he appears to be Caucasian, with dark hair and a beard, wearing a gray long-sleeve T-shirt, black shorts with an orange stripe and black sneakers.

Surveillance video near the burglary showed the man driving a Black Scion.
