CLEARFIELD, Utah, Feb. 23, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Three people have been killed in a late night crash in Clearfield.

According to information from the Clearfield Police Department, the victims are Seth Wolf, 30, of Clearfield, and Damon and Sophie Udy, 37 and 34, from Sunset.

Wolf, driving a red 2003 Grand Prix, was traveling westbound on 300 North. Damon Udy was driving a silver 2003 Kia Sedona southbound on 1000 West. Sophie Udy was a passenger in the Sedona.

“Preliminary investigation indicates that the 2003 Grand Prix did not stop for the east and west bound red light,” said a statement released by the Clearfield Police Department.

“In addition, the damage to both vehicles and the distance the vehicles traveled after the collision suggests the 2003 Grand Prix was traveling at a high rate of speed.

“There was a smell of alcohol and open containers in the 2003 Grand Prix indicating alcohol may be a contributing factor to the accident.”
