EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah, Nov. 13, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are investigating after a dog was found shot to death in a fenced backyard in Eagle Mountain on Sunday.

Utah County Sheriff’s Office officials said in a news release that deputies with the Eagle Mountain division responded to a report from a woman who said she found her dog dead in her backyard near Autumn Drive and Elkridge Drive in the North Ranches area.

The dog owner told deputies the incident happened between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.
