CACHE COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 17, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A collision Sunday afternoon on state Route 91 near Lewiston claimed the life of one driver and injured two people in a second vehicle.
Troopers responded at about 1:41 p.m. to a crash southbound on SR-91, near milepost 44. They found two vehicles had been involved.
“A GMC Terrain was traveling southbound when the vehicle hydroplaned on the wet roads,” a Utah Highway Patrol news release says.
“The Terrain traveled into the northbound lanes striking a Mazda 3. The only occupant of the Mazda died on the scene.
“The three occupants in the Terrain all received significant injuries, the driver and front passenger were transported by ambulance, and the rear passenger was transported by helicopter.”
