OREM, Utah, Jan. 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries after he crashed into a parked Utah Highway Patrol vehicle Wednesday night.
A tweet from UHP said the incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on southbound Interstate 15 in Orem.
The trooper’s patrol car was hit when the other car, which was “traveling too fast for the conditions,” lost control and crashed into it, the tweet said.
The driver was transported to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo with minor injuries.
The trooper was not injured.
