DELTA, Utah, March 16, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A man in a stolen SUV was taken into custody Saturday morning shortly after a terminated pursuit by Utah Highway Patrol troopers in Millard County.

“This morning around 6:50 a.m., troopers responded to a hit and run near Eureka on SR-36,” says a statement released by the Utah Highway Patrol.

“Troopers located the suspect vehicle a short time later on SR-6 heading towards Delta. The black 2016 Ford Explorer refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated. UHP Troopers and Millard County deputies were involved in the pursuit as it approached Delta before officers terminated the pursuit.”

The SUV continued to flee, and made its way into a residential area, the statement says.
