SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, July 19, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) —A Utah driver has been hospitalized after apparently spending hours inside an overturned car early Wednesday morning near 10003 S. Mountain View Corridor.

South Jordan police told Gephardt Daily, the driver – believed to be in his teens or early 20s – drove off the road while heading southbound, traveling a couple of hundred feet before plunging into a dry creek bed.

The man’s car came to rest on its roof and police believe that he spent the next couple of hours inside the wreckage.

The man ultimately climbed from the car and made his way back to the road, where he was spotted by passing motorists.
