WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, April 16, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A man driving without headlights caused a crash that sent him and two other people to the hospital Sunday night.

Lt. Amy Maurer, of the West Valley City Police Department, said the accident occurred at about 9:47 p.m. at 3180 S. 5600 West.

“A southbound vehicle was driving without its headlights on,” Maurer said. “A northbound car was turning into the Walmart parking lot and didn’t see the other car.”

The southbound vehicle T-boned the car that was turning.

The male driver was the only person in the vehicle that was driving without its lights on.

A woman driver and a male passenger were in the car that got T-boned.

Maurer said everyone involved was an adult, and all three were taken to the hospital in stable condition. She described their injuries as “a possible broken rib, bumps and bruises.”

The male driver was cited for driving without lights.
