Drunk Driver Rams Truck Multiple Times To Make U-Turn

HEBER CITY, UTAH – October 25, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A Heber City man was arrested after ramming his truck multiple times in an attempt to make a U-turn Friday evening.

According to Heber City Police officers, the incident happened at 1200 South Main when 33-year-old Justin Leo Miller made an unsafe U-turn into the driver’s side of a black car.

Miller rammed the black car three times in an effort to push it out of the way. He then left the scene but was found driving north on Main Street.

He was taken into custody by Heber City Police and booked into the Wasatch County Jail on a third-degree felony DUI, driving on an alcohol-revoked license, alcohol restricted driver, ignition interlock violation, unsafe U-turn, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, open container, continuous left lane violation and driving an unsafe vehicle.

Both occupants of the black car received minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Miller later posted a $10,000 bond and has been released from jail.
