Police seek suspect after robbery at Salt Lake City dry cleaner

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 8, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a Salt Lake City dry cleaner Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred at the Red Hanger at 955 W. North Temple St. just before 5:15 p.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

A suspect entered the Red Hanger and demanded the clerk give him cash, which she did, the news release said. He then left the area southbound on 900 West.

The suspect was described as possibly Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds, wearing jeans, a blue T-shirt, a black or dark blue jacket and a black beanie hat.
