PLEASANT GROVE, Utah, May 31, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A trailer being pulled by a dump truck became detached on Tuesday afternoon, and traveled through a Pleasant Grove intersection before coming to rest on an embankment above southbound Interstate 15.
A concrete ledge stopped the trailer from rolling down to I-15.
Three southbound lanes of the interstate were closed temporarily due to fears the trailer might roll onto the roadway before it could be secured by hooks and cables, and pulled back up.
All roadways are now reopened, according to a statement from the Utah Highway Patrol.
