ORANGEVILLE, Utah, July 18, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Emery County Sheriff’s deputies performing a welfare check on Sunday at an Orangeville home found a woman dead and a man with a gunshot wound.
In a news release on their Facebook page, Emery County Sheriff’s Office officials said they received a request on Sunday for the welfare check.
During the check, deputies found the woman’s body and a man with a gunshot wound to his torso. The man was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The incident is under investigation. A cause of death has not been determined.
