Exclusive: Huntsman researchers use the ‘cure’ word in discussing childhood cancers, melanoma

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 28, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Traditionally, physicians and medical professionals have been somewhat guarded in using the word “cure” when discussing cancer research and cancer treatments — but not anymore.

A series of dramatic breakthroughs, including those pioneered at Huntsman Cancer Institute, are making the prospect of a cancer “cure” a reality, especially in children.
