Explosion in Wyoming sends one person to U of U burn unit in Salt Lake City

UINTA COUNTY, Wyo., Feb. 23, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — An explosion in a building that houses a wellhead sent one person to the hospital with serious burns Saturday morning.

A Facebook post from Uinta County (Wyo.) Fire and Ambulance said fire and EMS crews responded to the scene on Henry Fork Road.

One person sustained serious injuries in the explosion and was transported to Evanston Regional Hospital, then was transferred to the University of Utah Burn Unit in Salt Lake City.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
