Female motorcyclist injured in collision with car in West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, May 23, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman suffered severe leg injuries when her motorcycle collided with a car Wednesday evening in West Jordan.

The woman, whose name was not released and whose age was not available, was traveling south on 4000 West at about 7:28 p.m. when a car turned onto the roadway at about 8250 South, Sgt. B. Shumway told Gephardt Daily.

The woman was transported to Intermountain Medical Center. Shumway had no information on whether the injury was severe enough to be life threatening.

The people in the car were not injured. The motorcycle hit the car on the front, passenger-side door, Shumway said.

No conclusion has been drawn yet as to who was at fault, he said.
