Fire, smoke damage 8 apartments in Spanish Fork

SPANISH FORK, Utah, Dec. 19, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — An apartment fire on Wednesday afternoon in Spanish Fork left four units damaged by flames and four more damaged only by smoke.

The Spanish Fork Fire Department responded to a fire near 900 East 500 North.

“Our crews are investigating the cause of the fire,” a Facebook post from the Spanish Fork Police Department said.

“There are no injuries to report, and the city is working with the the Red Cross and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to assist individuals displaced by the fire.”

  1. We lived in the unit directly above where the Spanish apt fire started.
    I want to thank all the 1st responders for their quick response and hard work.
    Also to the Red Cross and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for opening their doors and their hearts to us in our time of need. Bless you all!
