OGDEN, Utah, Oct. 10, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Late Sunday night, the Ogden Fire Department responded to a call about smoke coming from a building in Business Depot Ogden.
Fire crews arrived at High Desert Heat Treating, 709 W. First St. in the BDO, at about 11:15 p.m. Battalion Chief Hal Van Meeteren said they searched the building for the source of the smoke, but found no fire. No one else was on the premises.
Firefighters opened the exterior doors and set up fans to clear all the smoke. They then re-secured the building.
Van Meeteren said the department had obtained phone numbers for the owners of the business, and he felt confident that they had been notified.
