UINTAH COUNTY, Utah, March 3, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Four Uintah County men have been arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl.
Investigators from the Uintah County Sheriff’s office said the assaults took place last week, on March 27, while the child’s mother was visiting friends.
According to a written statement by the sheriff’s office, “the child was sleeping on the couch when the victim’s mother went into the garage of the home and was smoking methamphetamine. During that time, the child was taken into another room in the home where she was raped by the four men.”
The suspects have been identified as Larson RonDeau, 36, Josiah RonDeau, 20, Jerry Flatlip, 29, and Randall Flatlip, 26.
All four were booked on first degree felony rape of a child and first degree felony sodomy of a child.
The girl has been placed in state custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
