UINTA COUNTY, Wyoming, Dec. 15, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Four people were transported to Evanston Regional Hospital and seven others were evaluated on scene for injuries after a multi-vehicle crash Saturday night.

Bridger Valley Fire and EMS personnel were dispatched at about 9:35 p.m. to milepost 48 on Interstate 80, Uinta County Fire and Ambulance stated in a Facebook post Sunday.

Six semi trucks, two passenger cars, and a moving van were involved in the crash.

Emergency crews responded to the scene with five fire trucks and three ambulances.

Traffic was diverted off Exit 48 while the area was cleared and the Wyoming Highway Patrol was on scene investigating the incident.

Road conditions were extremely icy at the time of the crash, and Uinta County Fire and Ambulance cautioned drivers in another Facebook post Sunday morning that roads were still very slick.

“Please slow down, move over and be cautious. Give snowplows plenty of room as they are working hard to make the roads safe,” the post said.
